RSS Feeds

The RSS feature enables you to automatically retrieve content into the app from other websites, blogs, etc. You can create as many feeds as you want.

GETTING STARTED

01) Log into your App Manager and select your app.

02) Click Features from the left-hand-side of the screen (or the middle of the screen).

03) Select the RSS Feeds page (or whatever your RSS Feeds page is titled) from.

SETTINGS

01) Click the Settings tab to configure the RSS Feeds feature.

02) Enter the respective Settings for the Feeds function.

Design – Select f you want to use Card or List format design for the respective feeds.

Feed Aggregation – Should all of the various feeds that you add be merged into one feed in the list or should they be separate.

Display Thumbnail – Choose if the Thumbnail that’s included in the feed be displayed.

Use First Entry As Cover – Select if the first entry from the Feed be used as the main cover for the Feed list or not.

Cache Lifetime (Excluding User Refresh) – If selected, the feed history will be permanently stored in memory (excluding a server or user refresh).

MANAGE CONTENT

01) Enter the required information for each respective RSS Feed that you’re adding.

Title – The Title of the Feed that will be displayed in the app.

Replace Title Feed – If selected the Title you provide will replace the default Title of the Feed.

Description / Subtitle – A description to provide for the Feed.

Replace Feed Subtitle – This will replace the default Subtitle with the one that you provide.

Feed URL (RSS) – The url to the respective Feed.

Add A Thumbnail 256×256 – The image to use for the Feed list items.

Replace Feed Thumbnail – This will replace the default Thumbnail that’s in the feed.

Save – Save the settings that you entered.
