The Music Player feature enables you to stream our audio files directly from your app. The function has options to accommodate albums and playlist.
GETTING STARTED
1) Log into your App Manager and select your app.
2) Click Features from the left-hand-side of the screen (or the middle of the screen).
3) Click Music (or whatever is the name of your Music page).
4) Click the Click on + icon on the right-hand side of the page to create a new playlist. Next, give the Playlist a Title, and upload an image for the Playlist (512×512 in size). Lastly, click OK.
5) Select one of the following options:
iTunes – Add a list of audio from iTunes.
Podcast – Add audio from a Podcast.
Custom – Add audio from mp3 files (using the urls).
SoundCloud – This feature has been deprecated (no longer supported).
CUSTOM
A) Album – First add the Album information (Image, Artist, Album).
B) Audio File – Next, add the information for each individual Audio File (Title, Artist, URL to the audio file). It’s important to note that the audio file must be an mp3 file. Also, the url is the location to where the actual file resides (normally on your website server).
ITUNES
Search for the audio that you want to use. You have three possibilities to search the songs you want to add to your playlist:
- Artist
- Album
- Track
Enter your search criteria in the field, then click on the Search button.
After locating the audio, click on the album, the track or the artist you want to add to your Playlist. Once everything you want is selected, click on Add button to create the playlist.
PODCAST
Enter the URL to the Podcast that you’re attempting to add and click search. After locating the Podcast, click Add.
