{"id":15555,"date":"2024-08-15T01:11:22","date_gmt":"2024-08-15T05:11:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/buzapps.net\/info\/?post_type=knowledgebase&#038;p=15555"},"modified":"2024-08-15T01:11:23","modified_gmt":"2024-08-15T05:11:23","slug":"create-and-connect-my-database-to-my-application","status":"publish","type":"knowledgebase","link":"https:\/\/buzapps.net\/info\/knowledgebase\/web-hosting\/create-and-connect-my-database-to-my-application\/","title":{"rendered":"Create and connect my database to my application"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the steps below to create a database, and connect it to your application with our Web Hosting service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>01)<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>GO TO OUR WEB HOST MANAGER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Log in\u00a0<\/strong>our BuzApps Web Host Manager (<a href=\"https:\/\/hosting.mybuzapps.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">click here<\/a>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Manage Services<\/strong> select <strong>Hosting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select the website<\/strong>\u00a0that you want to create a database for. On the right-hand-side of the screen select <strong>Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>02) CREATE DATABASE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under <strong>Web Tools<\/strong>, select <strong>MySQL Databases<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a <strong>Database Name<\/strong> and click <strong>Create Database<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the newly created database, keep the default <strong>Database password<\/strong> or enter a new one (select <strong>Save<\/strong>).  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>03) ADD MYSQL USER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Add a User<\/strong> that will have access to the Database by entering a <strong>Username <\/strong>under Add MYSQL User.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select the Database<\/strong> that the User will have access to and enter a <strong>Password <\/strong>(select <strong>Save<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>04) NOTE DETAILS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make note of the <strong>Database Name<\/strong>, and <strong>Username<\/strong> and <strong>Password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When connecting<\/strong> your Database to your application, <strong>enter the above information<\/strong> in the appropriate fields.
