{"id":13249,"date":"2023-05-06T01:16:44","date_gmt":"2023-05-06T05:16:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/buzapps.net\/info\/?post_type=knowledgebase&#038;p=13249"},"modified":"2023-05-07T00:10:24","modified_gmt":"2023-05-07T04:10:24","slug":"wordpress-website-user-sync","status":"publish","type":"knowledgebase","link":"https:\/\/buzapps.net\/info\/knowledgebase\/app-features\/wordpress-website-user-sync\/","title":{"rendered":"WordPress Website User Sync"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With our WordPress User Sync feature, you can sync your app members with your WordPress website app members seamlessly!&nbsp;In other words, when a user register in your app, they will automatically have an account in your website, and vice-versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FEATURES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*<\/strong> When a user creates account on your App, the same account is created in your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*<\/strong> When a user tries to register in your App with the same Website credentials, an error is displayed letting the user know that the account already exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*<\/strong> When a user sign-in on your App with website credentials, the account gets synced and user log in is successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*<\/strong> When a user changes password in your App, their password is changed in your website as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*<\/strong> If a user change their password on your Website and then tries to login in your App with new password, it works automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SETUP<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1)<\/strong> Download and add the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/WP-API\/Basic-Auth\/archive\/master.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>WP-BAsic Auth plugin<\/strong> (click here)<\/a> to your WordPress website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2)<\/strong><strong>Create an account<\/strong> on your website that would be used for your app. Ensure that the account has <strong>Admin\/Editor permissions<\/strong>.
